Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This policy explains how in:link marketing (Tom Pressdee, based in Oxford, UK) collects and uses your personal data, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. I am the data controller for the information described here.
What data I collect
When you contact me through the website's contact form or by email, I collect the information you choose to provide, typically your name, email address, phone number (if given) and the contents of your message. I do not collect special-category data and do not knowingly collect data from children.
How I use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work
- To deliver and manage services you engage me for
- To send invoices and keep business records
Legal basis
I process enquiry data on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where you are a client, I process data to perform our contract and to meet legal obligations such as tax record-keeping.
Hosting and third parties
This site is hosted by Netlify, and contact form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and JavaScript libraries from public CDNs (Cloudflare and jsDelivr). These providers may log technical data such as your IP address as part of delivering content. I use these providers only to run the website and do not sell your data to anyone.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested first.
Data retention
I keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client and financial records are kept for at least six years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email me at the address below.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how I handle your data, please contact me first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
